Had a wonderful time in the US and saw so much, not least of all a cute needlecraft shop in Southport NC (where I bought a couple of nice fabrics).
The textil highlight had to be the the Textile Museum in Washington DC. Tucked away in NW DC, in a lovely neighbourhood where many of the ambassadors live, we found this charming museum. Everyone was very welcoming, the gift shop was so great and they have a garden with views of the city.
